One of the biggest challenges for traditional marketers who try to engage in social media is that they don’t have complete control over the conversation. Advertising and PR as it were was a one way message being pushed by the marketer. Social media give marketers a way to engage with their customers and build a relationship beyond the sell. Social Your Brand helps to enable brands to enter into this space, get their product in front of customers and engage them.

Social Your Brand is a collaboration between Beth Bastian and Mike Lieberman. We specialize in helping companies like you, that have green products or services, use social media as a way to connect with your target audience.

We were brought together by Twitter in mid-2009 after seeing that we shared the same goals and passions of “being green” and social media. After looking at the network that we had established as individuals, we decided to leverage that network to help green companies enter the social media space.
